Ogun State citizens must be vigilant. Ahead of 2027, our state must not be turned into a budget ATM and our people must not allow fraudulent candidates to buy their future with borrowed money that never reaches them.

For accountability, we bring out four specific projects from the 2026 Appropriation Act that are marked "ONGOING" on paper, but with nothing to show on site.

*1. THE ISAGA-ORILE DUPLICATION - ₦2.4 BILLION*

*ERGP20270579*
Project: Establishment of Farm Estate for Wealth Creation at Isaga-Orile, Ogun State
Status: ONGOING
Allocation: ₦1,000,000,000

*ERGP30241483*
Project: Establishment of Farm Estate for Wealth Creation at Isaga-Orile in Ogun State
Status: ONGOING
Allocation: ₦1,400,000,000

Same project description, slight change in wording, two different codes, two different amounts, total *₦2.4 billion*, both marked ONGOING. Go to Isaga-Orile today. Speak to farmers, community leaders and youths. Ask them what ₦2.4 billion has built. There is nothing to show.

*2. THE IBARA COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL ROAD THAT LEADS TO NOWHERE - ₦1.4 BILLION*

*ERGP12239798*
Project: CONSTRUCTION OF IBARA COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL ROAD TO ILEWO ROAD IN ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE (LOT 1-4)
Agency: Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute, Lagos
Amount: ₦1,400,000,000
Status: ONGOING - 2026 Appropriation Act

There is no school called "Ibara Comprehensive High School" anywhere in Abeokuta. Which school is this ₦1.4 billion road leading to? The small link road beside Catholic Comprehensive High School that leads to Oke Ilewo is less than 3 minutes walk, used only by passersby and okada riders. No contractor, no equipment, no asphalt has been seen.

*3. THE ₦1 BILLION SOLAR BOREHOLES*

Project: Construction of Ten Solar Industrial Boreholes for Cooperative Farmers in Ogun State
Agency: FEDERAL CO-OPERATIVE COLLEGE - OJI RIVER
Budget Year: 2026 Appropriation Act
Page: 742
Amount: ₦1,000,000,000

*4. THE ₦3.22 BILLION SOLAR GRID*

Project: Construction and Installation of 2 Megawatts of Solar Powered Grid for Farmers Cooperatives Centres in Ogun State
Agency: ENERGY COMMISSION OF NIGERIA
Budget Year: 2026 Appropriation Act
Page: 1331
Amount: ₦3,220,000,000

Prior to this release, we called on the Senate Committee Chairman on Appropriations to provide BOQs, contractor names, completion certificates, project locations, and pictorial evidence for verification. Till date, *no response has been provided, and nothing has been seen on site, despite being marked ONGOING.*

This is why we warn Ogun State citizens: *Do not accept a press release as a project. Do not accept empowerment rice and sewing machines as governance.* Demand evidence.

Nigeria's public debt is around ₦159 trillion. A significant part of federal spending is funded with debt that future taxpayers will repay. Accountability is not optional.

We therefore demand from all concerned Federal MDAs:

1. Where is the Farm Estate in Isaga-Orile for ₦2.4 billion?
2. Where is Ibara Comprehensive High School and its ₦1.4 billion road (LOT 1-4)?
3. Where are the Ten Solar Industrial Boreholes for ₦1 billion by Federal Co-operative College Oji River?
4. Where is the 2 Megawatts Solar Powered Grid for ₦3.22 billion by Energy Commission of Nigeria?
5. Release BOQs, contractors, locations, timelines and completion certificates.

We call on Civil Society Organizations, EFCC, ICPC, Bureau of Public Procurement and Auditor General of the Federation to investigate and provide public details on these projects.

To Ogun people: Open your eyes. Demand evidence, not slogans. The budget has spoken. Now show us the projects.
