The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) generated ₦85 billion in 2025, averaging about ₦7 billion monthly, according to its immediate past Executive Chairman, Mr. Jerry Adams.
Adams said the service is targeting ₦120 billion in 2026, with monthly collections expected to reach about ₦10 billion.
He said the increase was achieved without increasing taxes, adding that Governor Uba Sani is taxpayer-friendly and that tax compliance in Kaduna has now risen to 65%.
Adams spoke at the ongoing 160th Joint Revenue Board (JRB) meeting in Kaduna.
