Otunba Akinyemi Jackson, Secretary Ogun State

The labour party secretary in Ogun State, Otunba Akinyemi Jackson has responded to the letter addressed to the suspended party chairman, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi by the National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulsalam recently.

He said Arabambi Abayomi was suspended as the chairman of the party in Ogun State based on allegations of dictatorship, financial misappropriation and running of the party as a family affairs at his own convenience.

He said, no single account has been credited to the party since he emerged as the secretary of the party in 2018 after a successful congress.

Jackson also, said he and the executives took the decision together after series of occasions including anti party activities by Arabambi Abayomi.

Otunba Akinyemi Jackson made it known during a press briefing in Abeokuta that "Comrade Arabambi has been sabotaging the image of Labour Party in Ogun State by playing a lone-game believing  he has the backup of some people, meanwhile Labour Party is not property of anybody and someone cannot just be playing-god with the interest of the people. Labour Party is a constitutional oriented party, any act outside the constitution is mere child's play"

Otunba Akinyemi Jackson also stated that he is aware of Arabambi using the name of the National Party Chairman to defend his defenceless acts, he said the National Chairman cannot issue such statements which Arabambi credited to the National Chairman unless the National Chairman is working against the good will of party faithfuls.

Comrade Abayomi Arabambi is no more the Ogun State Chairman of the party, Otunba Akinyemi Jackson added.
