The Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) today 12th February,2021 expelled the Financial Secretary of the Union,Akogun Simeon Opeoluwa who has been suspended earlier for gross misconducts and illegal sales of fake tickets.

In a statement made available by the Publicity Secretary, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya noted that Akogun Simeon Opeoluwa was until the time of his suspension the Financial Secretary of the union,after he was caught with fake union tickets. He was thereafter asked to face the disciplinary committee which found him guilty of the offense.


At the State executives meeting,the disciplinary committee submitted her reports,and there are indications that Akogun Simeon Opeoluwa is guilty of the sales of fake tickets to commercial riders,which has been affecting the Internal Generated Revenue in the state during the working period of the Union.


The expulsion was unanimously agreed on so as to serve as greater warning to others who still engage in illegality and portray the union bad.


The Chairman of the Union,Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle urged other executive members of the union to be good representatives and ambassadors of the union anytime in their dealings in the course of discharging their duties.


For equity purpose,the expelled State Officer was replaced with Comrade Sunmola Rafiu from Ejila-Awori in Igbesa part of the State.
