AKURE — The National President of the Oduduwa Integrity Association, Evangelist and Honorable Omotoso Banji, has declared that Nigeria is on the verge of what he described as a divine national restoration, claiming that the country’s “lost glory” will return beginning Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Banji made the declaration during a briefing with members of the association, where he said the message was revealed to him through a spiritual vision.
According to him, the revelation showed Nigeria moving from a state of decay into renewed national glory under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He described Nigeria as having been “spiritually dead” for the past 30 years, but said divine intervention has now marked the country for revival.
“I saw it clearly that the dead state called Nigeria received back the lost glory of God Almighty on 7/12/2025,” Banji said.
He narrated a symbolic vision in which President Tinubu was seen “riding an unmovable cycle” that later became functional through what he described as divine power.
“The cycle took time before the engine began to move, but eventually it moved by the power of God,” he added.
Warning to Senate President
In a more controversial part of the briefing, Banji issued public warnings to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, urging him to avoid actions he claimed could damage his political future.
“Senate President Akpabio should desist from womanizing because his rising star will fall if he does not,” Banji alleged.
He also advised the Senate President to withdraw from any legal dispute involving Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, claiming that continued involvement could negatively affect his political trajectory.
National Prayer Session Announced
Banji further announced that a national thanksgiving and prayer session has been scheduled for December 12, 2025, in Akure, Ondo State. The event, he said, is being organized by the Oduduwa Integrity Association and will be led by Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos.
According to him, the prayer gathering is intended to thank God for what he described as the spiritual restoration already granted to the nation.
“The lost glory is already back to Nigeria. What remains is to thank God and complete the formalities,” Banji stated.
The claims have sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some expressing optimism over the prophetic declarations while others have urged caution, calling for a separation between spiritual pronouncements and state governance.
As of press time, neither the presidency nor the office of the Senate President has responded to the claims.
