Imeko-Afon, Nigeria — August 31, 2024 — In a heartwarming celebration filled with gratitude and community spirit, Fortified SF marked his milestone 40th birthday with a series of philanthropic initiatives aimed at uplifting those around him. Surrounded by friends, family, and community members, he expressed profound thanks to the Almighty God for His unwavering mercy and grace throughout the ups and downs of life’s journey.
Reflecting on his four decades, Fortified SF emphasized the importance of support from his beloved daughter, Ella Adeshewa Temilade Elizabeth Ojo, as well as his parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers. “Your prayers and encouragement have been my greatest source of strength through life’s seasons,” he stated.
To honor this significant moment, Fortified SF announced two major initiatives that showcase his commitment to giving back. First, he launched a ₦20,000 giveaway for 40 lucky recipients on Facebook, recognizing the platform's role in shaping his identity and connecting him with others. This gesture is not just a celebration but a tribute to the community that has supported him over the years.
Moreover, in a targeted effort to empower young minds, Fortified SF sponsored 100 JAMB registration forms for prospective candidates across Imeko-Afon Local Government. The distribution of these forms was meticulously planned to ensure that candidates from various communities received fair access:
- Imeko: 30
- Ilara: 20
- Idofa: 10
- Okeagbede/Moriwi: 10
- Iwoye: 10
- Afon: 10
- Obada/Owode: 10
This initiative was spearheaded by a dedicated committee led by Ogunleye Oluwaseun A., also known as Olori Odo of Imeko land. In addition to providing registration forms, Fortified SF plans to organize tutorial classes for beneficiaries, ensuring they are better prepared to excel in their upcoming examinations and choose appropriate university courses.
To further commemorate his birthday, Fortified SF honored the memory of his late grandmother, OLUKAN Gidi-kan, a revered pap seller from Ọjà Gèlète, with a beautification project at the Customs Roundabout in Imeko. The installation of a massive pot sculpture serves as a tribute to her industrious spirit and legacy. “This monument is not merely decorative; it symbolizes hard work and resilience, values she embodied all her life,” he remarked.
As he enters this new chapter, Fortified SF expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and support he has received. “May the Almighty bless us abundantly and grant us greater heights together,” he concluded, inspiring others in the community to reflect on the impact of generosity and the importance of uplifting one another.
This birthday celebration is not just a personal milestone for Fortified SF, but a powerful reminder of the strength of community, faith, and the positive change that can stem from one person’s desire to give back. As he embarks on the next phase of his journey, his story serves as an inspiration for many, showing that true fulfillment often lies in the joy of giving.
