AMORAN Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya Rewards Loyalty with New Motorcycle

Lagos, Nigeria – July 29, 2025 – In a heartwarming ceremony that underscored the spirit of loyalty and commitment within the Amalgamated Motorcycle and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Taofeek Sokoya DANKU, the esteemed chairman of the association, presented a brand new motorcycle to one of its most dedicated members, Yusuf Wasiu Babatunde, today.


The event took place at the AMORAN headquarters in Adatan, Abeokuta drawing in members from various regions who gathered to witness the special occasion. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and camaraderie as riders, family members, and well-wishers celebrated the remarkable loyalty of Babatunde, who has been a part of the AMORAN family for over a decade.






Otunba DANKU, in his address, emphasized the importance of loyalty and dedication within the community of motorcycle riders. "Today, we recognize an individual who embodies the values we hold dear in AMORAN—commitment, perseverance, and support for one another," he stated. "Yusuf's steadfastness and contributions to the association have not gone unnoticed, and it is our pleasure to reward him with this new motorcycle."


Yusuf Wasiu Babatunde, visibly moved by the honor, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the recognition. "I am deeply humbled by this gesture," he said. "Being a part of AMORAN has not only been about riding but also about the bonds we create and the support we provide each other. I want to thank Otunba DANKU and all my fellow members for this wonderful gift, which will empower me to continue my work in the community."


The presentation ceremony featured performances from local artists and was accompanied by speeches from other notable members of AMORAN, who echoed DANKU’s sentiments on the importance of fostering a strong and supportive network among motorcycle riders across Nigeria.


As part of the event, there was also a call to action for all members to continue promoting safe riding practices and to uphold the values of unity and respect within the motorcycle riding community. "Let this gift serve as a symbol of our shared mission to promote responsible riding and to empower each other as we traverse our respective journeys," DANKU added.


The ceremony concluded with a procession of motorcycles riding through the streets of Lagos in a show of solidarity and support for Babatunde, accompanied by cheers from onlookers who applauded the spirit of the association.
