Controversial street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has issued a stern warning: anyone who defames him will face legal consequences.
The singer made the declaration in a now-viral video, following his recent arrest and remand at the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Portable was detained after being charged with criminal defamation against veteran Fuji star Saheed Osupa, also known as Akorede Saheed.
In his message, the Zazu Zeh crooner expressed frustration over his experience behind bars and vowed not to hesitate to press charges against future offenders.
“Whoever talks bad about me or defames me will be arrested. They have done it to me, and I will do it to anybody too. There is no mercy,” he declared.
The singer’s warning comes on the heels of his release from custody, which followed Saheed Osupa’s decision to withdraw the petition that led to the legal drama.
