There was glitz and glamour in Abeokuta City, venue of the induction of Chief Ifagbeminiyi ATANDA Baoku a.k.a IFA TANTALA, Oluwo IFA of Egbaland was filled to the brim as people and well wishers came to witness his induction as Patron of Police Community Relations Committee PCRC Ogun State youth Wing.
The Technical Youth, Coordinator Surveyor Bayo OYELAKIN welcomed the guests to the event and make the populace to know that the Oluwo ifa of Egba land merit the award and it wasn't bought, due to his giant stride in crime bursting by the so called unprofessional traditionalist AMD, setting up of task force to go after ritualist in the State at large.
The State Chairman Ven. Dr Samson Kunle Popoola gave lecture on Importance of PCRC in the state and Nigeria at large during his lecture he intimate the traditionalist to please corporate with the police in exposing evil doers in the state by giving positive information to the police.
The divisional Police Officer covering the area of the event CSP Hadiza Abu Oganyi said her office is open for everyone that is ready to help the police force in combating crimes and make the divisional area and the State at large a peaceful and crime free state.
Also in attendance were The PCRC adatan area Chairman Hon, Taiwo Akinlabi, ACC Yusuf Moruf of So -Safe, the PCRC State executives, Youth Wing technical executive, Police, Traditionalist, Media etc.
The state Chairman hereby grant the Oluwo ifa of Egba request that the task force of the Traditionalist in the state should have a unit in PCRC YOUTH that will be helping the police in crime related matters.
