The national police council has confirmed Kayode Egbetokun as the substantive inspector-general of police (IGP).
On June 20, President Bola Tinubu had appointed Egbetokun, a feputy inspector-general of Police (DIG) Egbetokun, as the acting IGP, pending confirmation by the police council.
