According to him,we are celebrating 23 years of uninterrupted democracy today in commemoration of the annulled presidential election of June 12 1993, presumed to have been won by the late MKO Abiola..
Speaking further, he commended Nigerians for their resilience and contributions to the sustenance of democracy in the last 23years.
Oluwaseun assured the people of Obafemi-Owode local government of his commitment towards ensuring that democractic dividends are felt in all the nooks and crannies of the constituency.
While commending residents and indigenes of Ogun State, APC family members for their unflinching support for democractic consolidation with which the day was marked.
Hon Karimi enjoined the people of Ogun State to continue to play their role in deepening democracy by active participation in the electoral process, which has improved over the years and vote Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term to enjoy the continuation of good governance.
In his remarks, he said,”We are privileged to mark the longest period of unbroken democratic leadership,may this day bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone.
