The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State has been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of Hon. Abidemi Ogunseye, a prominent party figure from Obafemi Ward.

Hon. Ogunseye reportedly lost his life in a ghastly motor accident along the busy Siun–Abeokuta road, an incident that has sent shockwaves through the local political community and beyond.

In a condolence message, Emmanuel Adebola Sofela expressed deep sorrow over the untimely passing of the respected grassroots politician. He described Ogunseye as a dedicated party loyalist whose contributions to the growth and unity of the APC at the ward level would not be forgotten.
