Abeokuta: Assistance came the way of Residents of Eleko Community in Ijaye, Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State as an Egba Chief and the leading aspirant for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency Chief Oluwatoyin Anthony Amuzu donated borehole to the Community.
Chief Amuzu is looking forward to represent the good people of Abeokuta South Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Abuja come 2023 said the facility was self-financed and with a view to providing a sustainable access to safe drinking water for Community in Ijaye.
The Chairman Eleko Community Development Association, pointed out that such self-financed project was an indication of an exemplary gesture by Hon. Toyin Amuzu.
We all the know the significance of water in our society. There is nothing one does in life without using water, so you can agree that He who gives water gives life because water is life.
"Chief Toyin Amuzu has show leadership in all ramifications. We have heard it that he has provided scholarships, assisted many, provide water for us among other initiatives.
Members of CDA were so happy that they honoured Chief Oluwatoyin Anthony Amuzu with a special Award and prayed heavily for his success, stressing that these are kind of leaders who can represent them to achieve great things in the community and Abeokuta South in general.
At the event, it was double joy as the Toyin Amuzu Football Club also presented a Trophy won by the team in a competition.
Leading leader of the Party in the State, Chief Dr. Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu, the Party State Chairman Hon Sikirulahi Ogundele, Ogun Central PDP Chairman Hon Taiwo Akinlabi. Other dignitaries include Chief Bayo Dayo, Hon. Fasiu Bakenne, Alhaji Semiu Sodipo, Local Government Party Chairman Hadji Maroof , Collegiate Chairman Alhaji Mukaila Adekunle among others graced the occasion with glowing words for Chief Toyin Amuzu to continue to promote the Party PDP
