The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE has condoled with the Alakenne of Ikenne, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeyinka ONAKADE, on the death of his wife, Olori Caroline Oluyemisi ONAKADE, who passed on early today, after a brief illness, at the age of 82.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the monarch, on Tuesday, Hon. OGUNLEYE described the death of Olori Oluyemisi as most painful and unfortunate, particularly, when her companionship is most needed by the Royal Father, in the discharge of his responsibility as a traditional ruler.
He expressed his deepest sympathy to Oba ONAKADE, and all those left behind to mourn the death of the Olori, as he prayed that God grant them the fortitude to bear her departure.
He also prayed for the repose of the gentle soul of the deceased.
