Assembly Member, Wahab Egungbohun Laud Gov Abiodun Over Deployment Of Security Joint Force To Yewa North

The House of Assembly Member representing Yewa North, Ketu State constituency Hon Wahab Egungbohun Wahab has commended Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for lunching of special security joint force to work in area where people are attacked herders.

JSIS was constituted two weeks ago by the State Government in response to the recent farmers/ herders clashes in Yewa Ketu area and Ogun State at large
Members were drawn from the Nigeria Army, Nigeria Police, Department of State Security Service (DSS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

"I really commend the Governor His Excellency Dr Prince Dapo Abiodun for lunching of  security vehicles, comprising 10 operational vans and 20 motorcycles equipped with communication gadgets, were received by Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of JSIS Operations, DCP Ahmed Abdullahi, at a ceremony attended by the security chiefs in the state
I want to appeal to the Governor to kindly charge the JSIS to work within the affected villages and ensure restoration of peace" said Wahab Egungbohun Abiodun
"The security plans and structure of his excellency is just the best. Assuming this has been the response from government in the past the issue of herders clashes would have been in the past. Thank you Mr Governor." He added.

Also, Wahab appreciated Governor Abiodun's swift response towards the people in Yewa North through distribution of food palliative to the farmers to enable them not to visit their farms where the suspected herdsmen killers are hiding.

Conclusively, he said the effort of amiable Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun is superb and commendable, while appreciating  His Excellency on behalf of all indigenes of Ketu State Constituency, Yewa North.
