OGSG Meets With Conflict Resolution Committee On Herder, Farmers

MEETING WITH OGUN STATE CONFLICT RESOLUTION COMMITTEE ON HERDERS/FARMERS CLASH

Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture has meet with conflict resolution committee on herders/farmers for smooth cohabitation.

According to the post of Dr Samson Adeola Odedina, Commissioner of Agriculture in Ogun State.

I received in my office today, 18th January 2021, members of Ogun State Conflict Resolution Commitee on Herders/Farmers Clash, led by the Chairmen of the Committee, Prince Olusegun Dasaolu and the Seriki Fulani, Ogun State; Muhammad Kabir.

Prince Olusegun Dasaolu, speaking on behalf of the members, appreciated Ogun State Government for the support to the committee since its inception, and also to state some of the urgent needs of the Committee.

Responding, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture thanked the Committee for their commitment, saying their efforts and hardwork, is appreciated by the State Government. He also assured them of the continuous support of the State Government.

Others in attendance were, Mr Sani Hadi, Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Inter-Ethnic matters; Representatives of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN); Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture; Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, as well as Representative from Department of State Service (DSS).
