Yesterday the 18th of September, 2020, I stopped by on a courtesy visit to Sweet Estate Office located at Abiola way, Asero Abeokuta, Ogun State to see my friend and one of the most passionate Real Estate gurus in Nigeria.
The atmosphere was couthy with a very warm reception from the company’s manager. I saw lots of people seated while others were filling their land allocation forms. I was not surprised.
How can anyone possibly sold a parcel of plot (60*120) for N5000? And buyers are allowed to pay for maximum of 10 years. This was what I experienced only in the UK or the developed economies under a platform of ‘contract purchase’.
Further, one man came in while I was seated and ordered for 10 plots, five plots for his children and the other five for him. He said ‘ I am investing for my future’.
What young Chief Falola is doing is second to none in Africa. His mission is to make Housing affordable for all. I was amazed seeing and hearing all that the company has done in the past.
