Ogun Distributes Input Support To 2,500 Farmers

FLAG OFF OF OGUN STATE FGN/IFAD AGRIC VALUE CHAIN PROJECT 2020 INPUT SUPPORT TO FARMERS IN OGUN STATE

Abeokuta- The commissioner of Agriculture, Dr Samson Adeola Odedina on behalf of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR has flagged off input distribution exercise to 25,000 farmers across LGA's of Obafemi Owode, Odeda, Odogbolu, Ijebu East, Ijebu North East, Ifo, Yewa North and Yewa South.

The expected number of farmers for the activity is 2,500 for the participating LGA's.

Each cassava farmer is entitled to 3 bags of NPK fertilizer and 1 Litre of post emergence herbicide and each rice farmer is entitled to 3 bags of NPK fertilizer, 1 bag of urea and 1 litre of post emergence herbicide.

Present at the occasion include the permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Dotun Sorunke, Odeda Local Government Chairman Honourable Semiu Bola Lawal.

Also, The vice chairman House Committee on Agriculture, Honourable Yusuf Adejojo, Members House committee on Agriculture Honourable Ganiu Oyedeji, Honourable Olusola Adams and Honourable Adeyanju Adegoke.
