Ogun CP Appoints Ayo Shomide As Member, Divisional Community Policing Advisory Committee

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun Command CP Kenneth Ebrimson has appointed Hon Ayo Shomide as a member of Divisional Community Policing Advisory Committee.

According to the appointment letter sent through the Divisional Police Officer of Oke-Itoku division, CSP Kutonu, his duties as a member is to implement monitoring and evaluation of community at the grassroots as well as screening of persons to be recruited as special constables in the communities to achieve optimum results.

In response to the appointment, Hon Shomide expressed gratitude to the command for deeming it necessary to bestow upon him the leadership role in the community policing.

Also, he assured the command of quality representation in the area of grassroot community policing towards a peaceful society.
