List Of 75 Coronet Demoted By The Ogun State Government

The Dapo Abiodun led administration held Ogun state First Executive Council meeting on the 6th of February, 2020 at Oke-Mosan Abeokuta.

It was approved the revocation of the appointments of seventy-five (75) minor chiefs who elevated to coronet kings by the immediate past governor of Ogun state, Sen.Ibikunle Amosun.

This revocation is in line with the report of Chieftaincy Review Committee set up by the Ogun state government headed by Oba Kehinde Olugbenle (Olu of Ilaro).

In a statement credited to Ogun state Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment said, "The Council approved the revocation of the appointments of the 75 minor chiefs as Coronet Obas in Legal notice number three of 2019 ”, she said.
