AMOSUN, MUSTAPHA, AKINLADE ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO MAFE'S FAMILY

The former Governor of Ogun and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Abeokuta South, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Senator Lekan Mustapha representating Ogun East and the former Governorship Candidate of Allied Peoples Party (APM), Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade today paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Asiwaju Yinka Mafe at his country home,  Emuren, Sagamu.

Senator Amosun the news of the death of the formerly Majority Leader of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Yinka Mafe came to him as a shock.

Amosun who described Mafe as a dependable, reliable and lovers of his people and land said Mafe's antecedents could be forgotten soon.

"Mafe is a dedicated Politician who prioritizes his own people, discharging his duties diligently, even on his birthday, he still doled out some gift items to the aged, widows, charity organization among others, which showed that he has fought a good fight and he has ended his race well."

Amosun stressed: "Though his death saddens our hearts, but in all things, we have to thanks to God for He knows better. Mafe would be greatly missed in Remo, Ogun East and Ogun State at large for his numerous achievements, contributions and kindness to humanity."

The former Governor prayed for God to give the immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss of Mafe, who was a staunch member of his camp until he gave up the ghost on his birthday. He described his demise as an irreparable and irreversible loss.

In the former Governor of the State entourage were: Member of Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Sagamu II State constituency, Makun, Hon Ademola Adeniran Adeyinka (Sapele), Chief Derin Adebiyi; immediate past member of House of Representatives, Hon. Mikail Kazeem; Chairman, Caretaker Committee, Sagamu Local Government, Hon Tola Banjo.
