Owing to the government neglect of its citizenry couple with prevailing hardship on the people, Otunba Rotimi Paseda worried by the social deficiencies, established Paseda Legacy Foundation to better the lives of the downtrodden.
Paseda Legacy Foundation, registered in three countries i.e Mexico, USA and United Kingdom was aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians in diaspora especially giving scholarship to Ogun indigene abroad and provide free health insurance to Nigerians living overseas.
Today, Paseda Legacy Foundation has become a household name in Europe and America.
Venturing into politics in 2015, the Omu-Ijebu born business mogul without wasting time, Paseda, who believes in due process, approached Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to register the foundation in Nigeria.
Unlike other political foundations, Paseda Legacy Foundation is non-political, but a corporate non-governmental organization with the aim of freeing the good people of Ogun State from the shackles of bondage currently experienced under the present government in the state.
The four cardinal programmes of PLF are; providing free health services, provision of scholarship to indigent students, low cost housing scheme, empowerment for the women and youths, welfare for the aged among many others.
Today, no fewer than 3,000 beneficiaries have benefited from the kind and philanthropical gesture of Otunba Rotimi Paseda through his foundation.
VISION:
As a non-governmental an non-profit making organisation, (NGO), we are unreservedly committed to socio-economic upliftment of less privileged in our society, thereby leaving behind an enduring legacy for future generations of Nigerians.
MISSION:
Our mission is to impact positively on the status of less privileged in our society, giving them hope and succor for an accomplished life.
OBJECTIVES:
1) To use foreign and local assisted health aids / facilities to provide improved and standardized healthy living for the less privileged at free cost.
2) To mount robust healthy related campaigns across the rural areas on deadly diseases with a view to preventing high mortality rate among the less privileged.
3) To give hope to the elderly in the rural areas by providing first class "Old Poeple's Homes" with basic amenities to healthy living.
4) To provide supportive and appropriate materials and financial aids for the education of the less privileged from primary to tertiary institutions at free cost.
5) To engender healthy competitions among the "train-the-trainers" from primary to tertiary institutions via a practicable reward system with a view to ensuring quality standard of education for the less privileged in the society.
6) To provide meaningful soft loans for the less privileged at a zero interest rate.
7) To respond rapidly to the essential and basic needs of the less privileged, particularly on social injustice matters.
8) To creatively address and provide solutions to all matters bothering on societal injustices, oppressions, lacks and deprivation of basic needs (education, health, food, security, shelter, e.t.c.) amongst the less privileged.
