It is time to face reality and stop living in denial. Yes, Osun APC has passed through turbulent times, but the opportunity to change the narrative is right before us.
If we can secure victory in the forthcoming NASS and State Assembly elections for our candidates and deliver resoundingly for the Presidency, everything will change. Our story will change. Our rating before our friends at the national level will change. They will begin to see us not as a divided house, but as a set of serious, organized and committed progressives.
But this cannot happen if we continue dwelling on past grievances, backbiting, and pull-him-down syndrome. We must close ranks. We must forgive each other. We must reposition the progressive party in Osun State and rekindle hope in our people.
It is doable. It is achievable if we change our system of operations, respect our leaders, empower our genuine party faithful, and stop giving leadership to accidental politicians who have no stake.
Victory is the only detergent that can wash away the shame of defeat. Let us strive for it together, and Osun APC will rise again.
