Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that God has anointed Governor Ademola Adeleke to serve a second term.
Ayodele, however, warned that Adeleke’s expected victory could still be contested by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In statements issued through his media aide, the cleric said God has already chosen Adeleke to secure re-election, but cautioned that the opposition is working on plans to undermine or snatch the win after the polls if the governor is not vigilant.
“In the Osun election, God has already anointed Ademola Adeleke to secure a second term in office. He will win the election, but the APC are working towards the aftermath of the win. They will attempt to steal victory from Adeleke if he isn’t careful enough,” Ayodele stated.
He urged the governor to monitor developments closely before, during and after the election and to “stay with his win till the very end.”
