*OWERRI, IMO STATE* — The Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, Imo State Chapter, in conjunction with South East Bishops and Apostolic College has announced plans to host a one-day prayer conference aimed at seeking divine intervention, direction, and blessings for Imo State and Nigeria at large.
The event, themed *"IMO STATE IN GOD'S AGENDA"*, is scheduled to hold on *Thursday, 17th September 2025* at *Freedom Avenue, MCC Road, Amawire, Owerri*. The program will commence *promptly at 10:00 AM*.
According to the flyer released by the conference, the gathering is expected to bring together clergy, believers, and stakeholders from across the state to pray for peace, unity, economic growth, and spiritual revival in Imo State.
Leading the spiritual charge will be *Archbishop Prof. Joshua Robert*, Vice President, Southeast, CBCN, who will serve as the chief minister of the day.
The conference will also feature lots of Archbishops, Bishops and ministers of God from within and outside Imo State.
*Chief Barr. Obioma Success Akagburuonye*, also known as *Akaraugo 1 of Igboland*. He is the Chairman and National Leader of Believers Of The Gospel Care Foundation. His role as Chief Host underscores as the Special Guess of Honour. He is a visionary and transformative leader of our time.
The Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, is not a College but a fellowship, it is a body of charismatic bishops committed to prayer, evangelism, and national transformation. With the theme "Imo State in God's Agenda," organizers say the conference will focus on aligning the state with God's divine plan through intense prayers, prophetic declarations, and intercession for leaders, families, and the youth.
This program is in collaboration with South East Bishops and Apostolic College. Church leaders are calling on all Christians, political leaders, traditional rulers, and residents of Imo State to attend and join in seeking God’s face for the state.
