ABEOKUTA — The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has announced that the entrance screening examination for admission into the state's 44 Flagship Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
In an official statement signed by the State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu, the government confirmed that all logistical arrangements have been completed to guarantee a seamless and hitch-free exercise across all test centers.
The Ministry directed principals across the 44 designated Flagship Schools to ensure total readiness and oversee the smooth administration of the examination. School administrators and invigilators have been tasked with maintaining strict supervision, while prospective candidates are urged to exhibit orderly conduct throughout the testing period.
Emphasizing compliance rules, the Ministry explicitly warned that participation is restricted strictly to applicants who successfully finalized their online registration prior to the deadline. Unregistered candidates will not be granted access to the examination halls under any circumstances.
Applicants are instructed to report to their assigned examination venues by 8:00 AM equipped with their necessary writing materials to ensure prompt seating before the start of the papers. The Ministry concluded by wishing all participating students success in their academic pursuit.
