The inauguration ceremony, held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, was convened by Engr. Jamiu Ogundele, MNSE, Special Senior Assistant (SSA) to the Ogun State Governor. The event brought together an impressive array of political leaders, government officials, party faithful, community stakeholders, and supporters, underscoring the movement's growing influence within the local government.

The ceremony was widely regarded as a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the grassroots structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 political season through the establishment of an effective network of polling unit mobilisers.

Among the dignitaries in attendance were the Governor's Liaison Officer, party leaders in Imeko/Afon Local Government, honourable councillors, supervisors, ward executives, former commissioners, former local government chairmen, religious leaders, youth and women leaders, traditional and community stakeholders, as well as hundreds of APC members and supporters from across the council area.

Addressing participants at the event, leaders of the movement described the inauguration as a milestone in building a formidable grassroots political structure capable of enhancing community engagement, voter mobilisation, and sustained interaction with party members at the polling unit level.

They commended Engr. Ogundele for providing purposeful leadership and for initiating a platform designed to consolidate party unity while encouraging active participation of members at the grassroots.

According to the speakers, the newly inaugurated Polling Unit Mobilisers will serve as the frontline coordinators of the movement, helping to strengthen communication between the party leadership and local communities while promoting the ideals of unity, inclusiveness, and service.

The mobilisers were urged to discharge their responsibilities with discipline, loyalty, dedication, and integrity. They were also encouraged to work collectively in expanding the movement's reach, fostering peaceful political engagement, and ensuring effective mobilisation across all polling units in Imeko/Afon Local Government.

Observers at the event noted that the large turnout of party members and supporters reflected the increasing popularity and acceptance of the JAMSALOD 4 YAYI 2027 Movement across the local government. The atmosphere was marked by enthusiasm and optimism as participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the APC's grassroots base.

Speaking on the significance of the inauguration, organisers said the movement remains committed to promoting inclusive leadership, encouraging active political participation, and supporting sustainable development through effective grassroots organisation.

The event concluded with a vote of appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members of the public whose attendance and contributions ensured the success of the programme.
