Controversial singer and rapper Speed Darlington has expressed regret over being unmarried and childless as he approaches 60, saying he wants more out of life than his American residency status.
In a recent video, the “Akpi” crooner said he had hoped to be married with children at this stage of his life.
“I am close to 60 with no wife or child. Is this how I am going to live my life? All I have to show is American papers,” he said.
The singer added that what he now desires most is “family, freedom and respect.”
Speed Darlington had previously made headlines after publicly advertising for a wife, listing his preferred qualities in a partner. Despite the public appeal, he is yet to get married.
