In celebration of International Workers’ Day, the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Rep. Isiaka, has paid glowing tribute to Nigerian workers, describing them as the backbone of national development and the driving force behind the country’s progress.
In a statement released on Thursday, the lawmaker commended the resilience, diligence, and unwavering commitment of workers across all sectors, noting that their daily sacrifices continue to sustain the nation’s economy and shape its future.
According to him, from early morning to late hours, Nigerian workers demonstrate exceptional dedication in building not only their personal livelihoods but also contributing significantly to national growth. He emphasized that their efforts, often made under challenging conditions, deserve recognition and continuous support.
Rep. Isiaka urged workers not to lose hope despite prevailing economic realities, calling for renewed determination and a collective commitment to excellence.
