Parents and guardians in Remo Federal Constituency have been urged to take advantage of a limited educational opportunity following the announcement of special admission slots into Nigerian Air Force Military Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The initiative, facilitated by Princess Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji, Member representing Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is aimed at expanding access to quality education and fostering youth development within the constituency.
In a statement released by her media office, the lawmaker—who also serves on the House Committee on Armed Forces—announced that a limited number of slots had been secured for qualified indigenes and residents of Remo.
The admission covers prestigious institutions under the Nigerian Air Force, including the Air Force Military School (AFMS), the Air Force Girls’ Military School (AFGMS), Jos, as well as other Air Force Comprehensive Secondary Schools located across the country.
According to the statement, the gesture underscores the lawmaker’s commitment to human capital development and the creation of opportunities for young people to access disciplined, high-quality education within a structured military environment.
To qualify, applicants must be Nigerian citizens between the ages of 11 and 13 years, have completed their primary education, and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN). Candidates are also required to have an active email address to complete the online application process.
Interested applicants are to submit their applications through the Nigerian Air Force Examination Centre (NAFEC) Admission Portal.
However, the media office emphasized that the slots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, urging parents and guardians to act promptly to secure placement for their wards.
“This initiative reflects Hon. Ayoola-Elegbeji’s unwavering dedication to empowering the next generation through education and structured mentorship,” the statement noted, adding that early application would be critical given the high demand for admission into Air Force schools nationwide.
