Barrister Ismael Ahmed, Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi), hosted a high-level Progressives Strategy Roundtable at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
The meeting assembled federal ministers, heads of major government agencies, and key All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from across the country.
According to a statement issued by Ahmed, the roundtable centred on three main goals: strengthening unity within the APC, evaluating the achievements of the Tinubu administration, and developing clear strategies to secure a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A major focus of the discussions was the critical role of political appointees. Ahmed described each appointee as an ambassador of the administration, responsible to both the government and the Nigerian people who entrusted it with power.
He cautioned that any disconnect from the grassroots could weaken the President’s agenda and called on participants to deepen engagement with citizens.
“Now is the moment for us to solidify public trust through meaningful policies and strategic alignment,” Ahmed stated.
“This is how we will pave the way for continued progress as we move towards the next electoral cycle.”
