As communities across Sagamu Local Government ushered in the year 2026, the Executive Chairman, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended warm New Year greetings to residents, while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, improved service delivery, and sustainable community development.

In a goodwill message released to mark the beginning of the year, Odulate reflected on the challenges and achievements of the past year, noting that despite difficulties, the people of Sagamu demonstrated remarkable resilience, unity, and collective strength.

According to the Chairman, the experiences of the previous year further strengthened the resolve of his administration to place the welfare of citizens at the centre of governance. He expressed deep appreciation to residents for their continued trust, support, and cooperation, which he described as essential to the progress recorded so far in the local government.

“The past year tested us in many ways, but it also showed our strength, unity, and resolve as a people,” Odulate stated. “I am grateful for the trust, support, and cooperation you have continued to give my administration.”
