Omilan Productions Ltd is gearing up for its next major international project with Between Us, a UK-based psychological thriller set to begin filming in February 2026.
Produced and directed by Nigerian filmmaker Oluyinka Omilani, and co-produced by Wale Muraina, the film follows the team’s earlier cross-continental project Eegunleti, which was shot in both Nigeria and the UK. With Between Us, the company continues to push Nigerian-led storytelling beyond borders.
Set in contemporary Britain, Between Us tells the story of Dr. Tunde Adebayo, a Nigerian doctor, and his British wife Eleanor, who escape to a remote English countryside mansion hoping to fix their troubled marriage. Instead, they find themselves trapped in a terrifying psychological game when a sadistic intruder begins to turn their secrets, fears, and cultural differences against them.
The film stars Nigerian actor Olarotimi Fakunle in the lead role, alongside UK actors Gemma Dawson and Ian Bjorn, with a supporting cast drawn from across the UK.
Mixing emotional intimacy with edge-of-the-seat suspense, Between Us digs into themes of love, identity, migration, and cultural tension, showing how unresolved issues can become dangerous when the pressure is on.
Speaking on the project, Oluyinka Omilani describes the film as “a tense and emotional story about love, power, and identity — and what happens when the things we avoid talking about are forced into the open.”
