I want to use this solemn moment to express my deepest appreciation to the good and gracious people of Oyo State for the unwavering support, trust, and belief you continue to place in me.
Your encouragement fuels my resolve, and your confidence in my person reminds me daily of the sacred duty I owe not just as the Okanlomo of Ibadanland, nor because I once served as a Senator of the Federal Republic, but as a son of the soil, raised with honour, discipline, and unwavering values.
What I stand for transcends titles and offices. It is deeply rooted in the legacy of my upbringing in the values my beloved parents poured into me: truth, humility, service, and integrity. These are the principles I carry with me into every room, every decision, and every act of public service.
Come what may, I promise to remain steadfast in these values. Not swayed by tides, not shaken by storms. I will continue to serve with conscience, courage, and clarity, because that is who I am and that is who I will always be.
