In a grand and inspiring ceremony that celebrated leadership, mentorship, and service to humanity, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun Central Chapter, conferred the prestigious title of “Guardian of Egba Youth” on Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, MP-FRN, Member representing Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency and Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives.


The event, which drew youth leaders, community stakeholders, and political dignitaries from across Ogun State, marked a moment of recognition for Dr. Isiaka’s unwavering commitment to youth development, education, and nation-building.


A Heartfelt Message of Gratitude and Commitment


In his acceptance message titled “Message of Appreciation, Encouragement, and Commitment,” Dr. Isiaka expressed deep gratitude to the NYCN for what he described as a “shared achievement” reflecting the collective effort, mentorship, and faith of the vibrant youths of Egba land.

He thanked the Council for believing in his vision and reaffirmed his resolve to continue championing youth empowerment with integrity and excellence. “This award inspires me to push beyond boundaries, to serve with humility, and to model the values of service, accountability, and resilience,” he added.

The lawmaker used the occasion to issue a rallying call to young Nigerians to embrace discipline, innovation, and civic engagement.


“The future is bright for those who dare to dream big, work hard, and stay focused on the common good,” Dr. Isiaka emphasized.
