It was a great honor for me to deliver the goodwill message at the maiden retreat of the 57 Local Branch Coordinators of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The gathering was refreshing and highly impactful, filled with energy, vision, and a renewed determination to drive positive transformation in the lives of Nigerian youths.
Speaking briefly on the theme “A New Journey”, I emphasized that leadership is a continuous path of growth, responsibility, and service.
This marks a fresh chapter where collaboration and innovation must guide every step we take to advance youth development.
I also celebrated our Chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Olalekan Adigun, a brother, a long-term friend, and a leader whose passion for youth empowerment has remained consistent through the years.
His influence and unwavering dedication continue to inspire countless young Nigerians.
In special recognition of our long-standing brotherly relationship dating back to our school days, the Chairman honored me with a replica of the Cap specially designed for his own personal use as Chairman, a symbolic gift that represents the strong bond, trust, and mutual loyalty we have shared over the years.
In attendance were the Vice Chairmen representing Lagos West, Lagos Central, and Lagos East, alongside the 57 Local Government Coordinators and the State Executives of the Council, all demonstrating unity and readiness for the great journey ahead.
With focus, accountability, and a collective vision, we are confident that impactful progress will continue to unfold among young people across Lagos State and beyond.
Together, we move, and progress becomes inevitable.
