
Armed bandits abducted 30 villagers in a brazen attack on Zamfarawa village, Zugu District, Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State, on October 7 at approximately 2:20 p.m.
According to Zagazola Makama, a large group of bandits stormed the community, firing indiscriminately to instill fear before whisking away the victims to an undisclosed location.
In response, security forces have ramped up efforts to locate and rescue the abducted villagers, though no further details on the operation have been disclosed.
