Before he entered the current political arena, he spent over 20 years in the oil and gas industry, primarily within ExxonMobil Fields. His final role in the industry was as Offshore Construction Supervisor and Project Construction Supervisor, where he was responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects crucial to the operation of various industrial offshores. He led multidisciplinary teams, managed substantial budgets, and ensured that all operations met the rigorous standards expected in the industry.
This hands-on experience has given him understanding of the technical and managerial challenges that come with large-scale oil and gas projects. Transitioning into the current public service in 2015, he has brought this expertise with him into his legislative work.
