"Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it shapes your character and opens doors for your future," he stated, reiterating his administration’s commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment for all.
The chairman also highlighted that the distribution of furniture and writing materials is part of a broader effort to enhance educational infrastructure across the local government. "Investing in education is investing in our children’s future. We want to ensure that no child is left behind in their educational journey," Hon. Afeez remarked.
Teachers and students at both schools expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely intervention. Many noted that the newly provided furniture would significantly improve the learning environment, making it more comfortable and conducive to studying.
“The support from the local government is a relief for us. It shows that they care about our educational needs,” one teacher at Baptist Primary School shared, reflecting a common sentiment among the staff and students.
The distribution exercise was met with enthusiasm, and amidst smiles and laughter, students were seen eagerly examining their new supplies. This gesture not only provided immediate material aid but also boosted morale among students and teachers alike, instilling a renewed hope for the future of education in Abeokuta South.
As the visit concluded, Hon.
