A 23-year-old man, ThankGod Elufo, has allegedly taken his own life by st@bbing himself in the kitchen behind Nwodo Estate in Asaba, Delta State.
The incident occurred on Sunday night after Elufo's elder brother asked him to prepare for an outing. The brother was waiting for him, not knowing that his younger brother had entered the kitchen and st@bbed himself,
A local resident made a distress call to the Chairman of the local vigilante group, who quickly arrived at the scene.
The police were informed, and officers arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. to evacuate the body to the morgue. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the alleged suicide are ongoing.
Police spokesperson Bright Edafe confirmed the incident, and further details are awaited.
