A Nigerian mother residing in the United Kingdom has issued a public cry for help following the sudden disappearance of her 14-year-old son, who was in the care of social services.
In an emotional video she posted on Instagram, the distressed mother explained that her son was taken into foster care alongside his younger sister. However, she was later informed that the boy had gone missing from the foster home, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
“They took my two children and placed them in foster care. Now they’re telling me my son is missing. How does a child go missing under their care?” the mother lamented through tears in the widely shared video.
The woman appealed to members of the public to assist in finding her son, urging anyone with information to contact the authorities immediately.
As of the time of this report, UK authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the disappearance.
