Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding in Venice is reportedly going to be a luxurious affair with a price tag of $50,000 per guest. With a guest list of fewer than 200 people, the total cost could top $10 million, although some estimates suggest it might reach $20 million.
The wedding celebrations are scheduled to take place from June 24 to 26 on the exclusive island of San Giorgio Maggiore, with around 200 high-profile guests expected to attend.
The ceremony might be held on Bezos' $500 million superyacht, Koru, which will be anchored in the Venetian lagoon, accompanied by a support vessel.
Bezos, whose net worth is estimated at $230 billion by Bloomberg, appears unfazed by the staggering expenses. The Amazon founder proposed to Sánchez with a 30-carat diamond ring, and their wedding is expected to match that level of opulence.
A-list guests are already arriving in Venice, including actor Orlando Bloom, though without fiancée Katy Perry. TMZ reported that even Sánchez’s former partner, NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez, is expected to attend, underscoring the event’s blend of celebrity and personal history.
The couple and their guests will stay at the Aman Venice, an exclusive hotel on the Grand Canal where rooms range from $2,000 to $10,000 per night. Sources say the historic venue is fully booked from Wednesday to Sunday to accommodate the festivities.
