The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has issued a warning to Nigerians, cautioning them against carrying luggage they don't know the contents of.
This warning comes after a man was arrested for carrying a bag containing hard drugs, which he claimed was given to him by someone else.
Femi Babafemi, the agency spokesperson, disclosed in a post on X that a man was recently arrested for picking up a piece of luggage without first reviewing its contents. After he was apprehended, it was discovered that the luggage contained some hard drugs.
