Diamond Platinumz's Ex-Wife, Shares Unfiltered Thoughts about his new Marriage

Zari Hassan, the estranged wife of Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, has shared her unfiltered thoughts on his recent marriage to singer Zuchu.

 

In a viral video, Zari wished the couple well, praising Zuchu as a strong and resilient woman who deserves a "Girlfriend of the Year" award. 

However, she also subtly threw jabs at Diamond, hoping he would treat Zuchu better now that she's his wife.

"I'm so proud of her," Zari said. "I hope Naseeb treats her better now because she's a wife now instead of just a girlfriend. Let him change, it would be really nice, that girl is putting up with a lot of things from Naseeb."

Zari's comments have sparked a heated debate online, with many praising her for speaking her mind. 

Some fans have defended Zari, saying she has every right to share her thoughts on her ex-husband's marriage. 

Others have criticized Diamond, saying he's been playing with women's feelings for too long.

The drama unfolded after Diamond Platnumz married Zuchu in a private Islamic Nikkah ceremony this June, 2025. 

Zari, who shares two children with Diamond, emphasized their strong co-parenting dynamic, saying, "My kids don't lack anything. 

He’s the type of person that, if they need something, he pulls through."
