...Donates over One Hundred Solar Street Lights, Kickstarts Re-invigoration of Agro-Processing Centre
There was a wide jubilation in Yewa South area of Ogun State following the laying of foundation of two Ultramodern Palaces by the House of Representatives Member, representing Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade for The Onipokia of Ipokia and Olu of Owode-Yewa land today 16th of August, 2024.
The two traditional rulers both falls within his federal constituency.
During the foundation-laying ceremony in Ipokia, the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, HRM Ọba Yisa Olaniyan stated that the developmental projects Hon. Abiodun Akinlade is bringing to Ipokia has never happened before in the history of the Local Government Area where an honourable member can facilitate construction of befitting ultra-modern palaces for monarchs. Rt. Hon. Abiodun Akinlade joined by officials of Federal Institute of Research, Oshodi, Lagos, the Onipokia of Ipokia and other community leaders also inspects the Agro-Processing Centre at Onfo Road in Ipokia Local Government. This inspection according to the officials mark the re-invigoration process of the facility.
The Ọja of Agọṣaṣa, HRM Ọba Abdulazeez Taiwo Akinpelu and the entire sons and daughters of Agọṣaṣa also received the people's honourable with great enthusiasm as the foundation of a block of six classrooms was also laid at Ipokia Local Government Primary School, Agọ-Egun, Agọṣaṣa. Hon. Akinlade assures the King and dignitaries present that the project will be completed in three months time.
While at the ultra-modern palace foundation laying ceremony in his country home, Owode-Yewa, Hon. Abiodun Akinlade affirms his commitment to promotion of our rich cultural heritage and the general well-being of our royal fathers. The Olu of Owode-Yewa, Ọba Rev. (Dr) Matthew Akindele appreciated Hon. Akinlade for facilitating numerous laudable projects to his constituency.
The solar street lights facilitated for both Yewa-South and Ipokia Local Government will further curb nefarious acts, improve safety and security and allow residents to move freely at night. Today's milestone activities was witnessed by esteemed dignitaries, party men and women, different youth groups, leaders of All Progressives Congress, party faithful, spiritual leaders, Community Development Associations and admirers of Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade, the Man, the Bridge and the Game Changer.
