The Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF) stepped the game today May 29th as it rolled out the red carpet to host children to commemorate the annual Children's Day.
Though Senator Adesoji Akanbi was playing another major role somewhere else, his amiable wife, top businesswoman, Hajia Zikrah Afolake Aduke Akanbi, was ably there to represent him.
The children's party which had all the trappings of assorted food, drinks and funfair, captivated the children, and held their attention throughout the hours that they were there.
There were lots to share, so many gifts that were won through participation in different games and Hajia Zikrah Afolake Aduke Akanbi, was just the perfect hostess for the children.
In her welcome speech, Hajia Zikrah Afolake Aduke Akanbi, encouraged the children not only to be well resolved to pursue their studies, but also to endeavour to aspire to be morally good at home and whenever they are in public.
She called on parents not to relent in instilling moral values in the children and teachers should pay attention to develop the children academically to be upright to lead the society in the near future.
RAAF as a charity organization, has in recent times been at the forefront of giving out to children and the society at large.
It is also noteworthy that, The Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF) was also at the forefront of the battle against coronavirus, the global epidemic, assisting the government of Oyo state, with major interventions at hospitals, markets and other public places, among other interventions in other areas of people's lives.
