Wednesday 2nd of February 2023, was a sad day for the families and friend of Ifeanyi Chucks, a father of one, christian and a famer who lived at Mesinro compound, Onitsha in Anambra State.
Unknowned gunnmen suspected to be hired assasins mobbed his house in search for his friend Kehinde Saka.
According to the deceased brother, Mr Juniad Chucks, alongside a friend Elaina, his brother was murdered in place of his friend identified as Kehinde Saka.
Meanwhile, An anonymous source revealed that the gang while carrying out the criminal act gave warnings to people not to harbour Mr Kehinde Saka within their premises.
The police sources reveal that, it may connected to an incident in 2022 in which Mr Kehinde Saka disappeared, haven been accused of switching political party and working as a youth leader against his former party in Agbado area of Lagos. This caused friction between the two leading parties and Mr Kehinde ran for his dear life.
Mr Junaid Chucks also confirmed that the said Kehinde Saka was been harboured by his brother and he believed maybe responsible for the death of his brother in search for the fleeing Kehinde Saka.
It is however unclear why Kehinde Saka is been sought after, the body of the deaceased had been deposited a the State hospital and investigations is ongoing to fish out the criminals.
