A call has gone to members of the Parliamentarians of the South West and especially the Osun State chapter to jear up to the challenges ahead and to prepare themselves to change the political narrative of the present situation.

This call was made at the meeting of Osun Caucus meeting of the directorate of Parliamentarians held in Osogbo by the Former Speaker of the State Rt Hon Wale Afolabi who is the State Cordinator of the PCC Parliamentarians Committee headed by Rt Hon Patricia Etteh. In his word,..." it is necessary to deploy a new approach and buckle up in the effective deployment of great tactics to change the political  narrative of the state as we approach 2023 election. We must find ways to reverse the narrative with good results for all our candidates  and especially our party Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In her own word, Rt Hom Etteh whose message was read by Hon Rotimi Makinde.

"...Much is being expected of us as parliamentarians of this south west region,we therefore can not afford not to ensure we return minimum of 80 percents of the total votes of South West for our dear principal, to do just that is for us to work and mobilize like never before, unitedly and to co-opt our colleagues at the grassroots level..We can not take any chance or be complacent on anything that concerns  this election.

"Incidentally, We have a sellable  principal in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is well accepted nationwide, very marketable and a candidate who has all it takes to pilot the affair of this nation. This is not about tribe ,religion but about someone who posses the capacity, sagacity and the right qualities to turn things positive for this great nation"—She said.
