The senatorial candidate of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun Central district, High Chief Olumide David Aderinokun has said he would continue to empower his people either in government or not today, Monday 12th of September, 2023 in Abeokuta.

He said this during the meeting with new members of the party in the fifteen wards of Abeokuta South federal constituency.

Aderinokun will be needing votes of six local government to win Ogun Central, namely Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, Obafemi-Owode, Odeda, Ifo and Ewekoro respectively in the forthcoming election.

Personality present at the familiarization meeting with existing and new members of the party includes, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, Governorship candidate of People's Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade, Deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Toyin Amuzu, House of Representatives candidate for Abeokuta South among other assembly candidates.

He urged the new members to feel free to mingle with the existing members, saying People's Democratic Party needs lot of people to win the forthcoming election, he implored those who are interested in joining PDP not to have change of mind that the party is the only way to many empowerment and infrastructure development to make life easier for the people of Ogun state.
