......As INEC Releases Final List of authentic candidates for the forthcoming election in 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has released the final list of candidates to contest for their respective offices in the forthcoming election in 2023.
The Deputy Minority Whips, Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya, Barr Taiwo Shote, Toyin Amuzu and Olumide Aderinokun made the final list despite speculations in People's Democratic Party, PDP on the authenticity of candidate to run in the general election.
Today, INEC released their list for President, Senate and House of Representatives and State House of Assemblies for the contenders to be prepared towards the poll.
Rt. Hon Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya was announced as the authentic candidate of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ijebu North/Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside federal constituency while Barr Taiwo Shote was listed for Ijebu Ode federal constituency, Toyin Amuzu as candidate for Abeokuta South Federal Constituncy and Olumide David Aderinokun as the senatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party against all odds.
The above candidates alongside their colleagues would be contesting in their various constituencies with the candidates of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC in the general election in 2023.
